Before our banquet finals, when they were still deciding on our theme whether it's barrio fiesta or children's party, my first choice was the last mentioned. Most of my friends picked the first one and said it is better because there will be the legendary lechon but for me I don't care, I don't eat lechon much and all I want is to enjoy in that day. Then majority wins.Children's party is the final theme.
I played a very important role in the event "the mother of the celebrant". Lily is the birthday girl since she has the most youngest face in HRM. I will be giving message to everybody as a welcoming address. I ask the help of Nice because she's expert on that matter. I memorized my piece so that Lily will be proud of me.
Before the event will begin, I'm getting troubles of my outfit as mother. Several of my classmates commented that I look like going to church than a mother. Thanks to Arianne, she volunteered her short floral skirt to me. Then it fits to my body. Huala! A modern fab mother I can say to the girl in the mirror.
I have lots of things in my bag since I'm part of the kitchen committee, I'm the mother, and I have 2 dance numbers. My bag was so heavy. When I entered the gym, my eyes directly points to my husband. Haha! Feeler! :D He was wearing black-formal-business-like-top and eyeglasses. He really looks like a father that time. While my eldest daughter was wearing spongebob shirt and black mini skirt with matching ponytail. Loysa catched my attention saying "Buros napud daw ka ingon imong bana." Oh, he's kidding but I like it just continue. HAHAHA! He spoke to me and I'm pretending that I don't heard him but his voice was so clear to be avoided. "Ining, hale na magsugod na." "Kamo lang, moistorya man ko sa atubangan." He understands.
In general, I really enjoyed the party of my dearest Lily Pearl. Age doesn't matter to have this kind of theme. Party Party! :)
