The Original Barkada

We called it "original" because ever since our first outing in Lawis we've been together. That was the birthday celebration of Carmela and Rizza. That was my first time also to engage in swimming with my classmates.

Our recent activity was the advance birthday party of my friend Hearty. The venue is not in Lawis anymore but in Marvilla Timoga. We're upgrading, in fairness. ;)

Our foods were longganisa from Catcat, pork meat and fish by Cham and Val. I'm so full. As far as I remember, I ate 3 pieces of longganisa. That was my favorite. It tastes good. I also drank pepsi, orange juice and my share mountain dew.

As usual, I tried to swim rigorously but I failed again. It seems like I don't have talent in this field. How sad? :( Well, like the old days, they drank tanduay again but this time after the bottle has been empty we played "Truth or Dare". When the bottle points out a person, he/she will answer our question or face the consequence. I'm so glad the bottle doesn't like me because if it does I know they will ask me about Karl.

What else can I say? I already blogged him but as recap this man with height 5'11 and weight 200 lbs., I can say his heart is larger than his physical aspects. He is sooooo good. I can assure you that. He may not look approachable but trust me he won't bite. ;)

I love this man in the picture. Why? He is the only guy I know who gives me importance , who appreciates me in a way, who defends me from my haters and many more. Try to bring me down and he will rise me up.

Though sometimes we misunderstood each other still I look at it in a positive way. Nobody's perfect. Every friendships' encounter misunderstanding but in our case we never let a day passed not to fix it.

Thank you for the treats, free fare, and that so popular term "catchings". Hahaha! Thank you for your boarding house which we made it our consistent standby area. Thank you for the words of wisdom you have shared to me. Thank you for that moment when I can't control my tears to drop and you let my eyes be open to the sick reality. So much to thank for. Happy 20th birthday. Cheers to the freakin' weekend! I love you friend... :')

It's raining, men!

Last Tuesday, my circle of friends, Hearty & Rizza have decided to engage in walking (our exercise eversince) and take a bath in the rain. Yup, you read it right, take a bath in the rain. The last time I did this I was still a kid with clothes off.

Farrah & Catcat joined us after the class. We walk Tibanga to City Hall. While sauntering, I discover that the two have a little misunderstanding because of the picture in Farrah's phone. It contains the face of Louie (ex-boyfriend) with her. For me, Catcat has nothing to react anymore because they already broke up.

Move on, the two left first because Farrah have her appointment in a salon and of course Catcat accompanied her. He looks pathetic. I feel pity to my friend.

After how many minutes the heaven blessed us as it pour the rain into our faces. We don;t care about our clothes, we just enjoy the scenery and company of each other. We slowly go down to the Anahaw stadium of Iligan City. It's kinda slippery out there but who cares. When the rain stopped, we walk our way home, wishing I'll be dry immediately because my mom will scold me if not. While wandering, we saw a new bakery. I don't know the name but it is located at the old 11:49. Hearty bought us bread with egg on the center and royal as a beverage. It's his treat for us. It's sooooo yummy.Super! I almost forgot my name because of the taste. We want to go there next time.

I love this whole experience. Thank you friends and thank you Lord. :)

Wedding Service

I can't barely remember what day it is but the memories are still fresh on my mind. It was nearly afternoon when Catcat (male friend) texted me to replace him in serving with Betsy's Best. Betsy's Best is a catering service provider which rendering their services ever since I was a kid. It is located near Corpus Christi and Lyceum. I rush in to mom's phone to load my number. FYI, we are reloader.

 I immediately cleared what texted and ask some details from Ardy because he is the recruiter. While I'm getting ready for the so-called on-call duty, my phone rings. I wonder who's calling. When I looked at my phone I figured out who it is. It's him. Of course, I quickly answer it because he might change his mind. I'm quite disappointed when I knew the reason of his call. He's just asking if is it brownout in our school. Hmmm... Never mind.


Ardy informed me that before 4:30 pm, we must be there already. But I'm running late due to make-up rituals and the Bacayo jeepney is seldom. Ardy called me lots of times, April (co-server) texted me oftentimes, asking where the heck I am.


Finally, before the car drives its way to Timoga (the venue), I arrived, saying sorry to the manager and owner. I guess they understand. As we arrived at Timoga, I saw beautiful flowers in the table, a singer singing love songs, then I realized it is a wedding.

I asked Ate Joy (reg. employee) who are the groom and bride. She pointed out two adults. She said this is their first marriage. I'm curious why it takes them so long to get married. It puzzled me.

I'm teary eyed when the wedding singer sang my favorite long songs such as Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok ko and more. Maia, April, and I first left the venue. I'm so happy we had P200 and free meal and I saw Ma'am Gonzaga there. At the end of the day, I have a lesson learned.

Time is gold. Don't waste your time. When you found that someone who gives magic to your life, go get married and have lots of kids with her. And make your own happily ever after story. :')

My Girlfriend is a Gumiho

I borrowed some dvd's from Rizza and as I browse those movies she gave to me I saw this My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. I was not planning to watch this because it is so exhausting watching a series. But one day, while waiting for my mom to come out her room (we're going to church), I get bored I tried to play it and unexpectedly I forgot about mom. :D

The story is all about Mi Ho, a gumiho who wants to be a human. He met this lazy guy Dae Woong whom she given her bead. Dae Woong must keep the bead inside his body for 100 days he didn't know that after it he will die. How will Mi Ho take the death of his love one?

Actually, I already watch the episode one of the said series. That was during our overnights with Statistics last summer. But I haven't finished it because at the end I find myself sleeping. Hehe... I'm now in episode 13 over 16 episodes. Not later than this week, I will see the ending of My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.

I have big debt of gratitude to you. Why? For helping me pass accounting. If you remember you're my constant seatmate in that horrible subject. When I ask you "Van, giunsa diay na?" You immediately respond "Gikuan mana sya ains." I'll never forget the time time when I was hesitant with myself if I can pass Chem and Stat but what you said "Ains, huna-huna ra man na nimo. Kaya lage na nimo. Nakaya gani nako." And I guess you're right I passed the both. Thank you Van. :')

Though we're not that so close but I know you're a good person even some people argues me about that. Don't worry of what people think or say about you. Because you will shine no matter what. Farrah's Birthday

                                     

This was happened last October 25, 2011. My friend Farrah Guillena celebrated her birthday at Sportsbuck. That was my first time to hang out there. We were so happy and full of the foods served. Hearty choosed songs but he will give the microphone to me always. I have got high scores then such as 99 and 100. I guess the videoke machine is a lier. Hahaha! After Sportsbuck, we go directly to Ma'am Chai's crib for her birthday. They have the same birthday with Farrah. I spend the night laughing with these fabulous people. It was fun super. :)

Single?

For a thousand times, he changed his relationship status into single. Posting his flirtatious status. What's the drama? Oh, there's one the romance between June and him is just an act. I'm right. I don't see them dating, being together and even talking. I haven't seen them doing girlfriend-boyfriend activities.

I bet after how many days he will be in a relationship again with another girl. Hmmm... Doesn't he know that I'm single? My relationship status has never been changed ever since. Gosh! Don't you have plans to be happy with me? My love is here. Hahaha! :D

Dean's Lister

Oh my gosh! I was not expecting that I will be blogging this until it happens today. First semester was so challenging for me. I have Chemistry lec and lab subject one of the most dangerous subjects in our course. Several of my classmates failed and taking it twice, wishing it will be the last. Well, I'm so lucky because I passed the subject in my take one. And the highlight is--- despite of the pressure of chemistry and other feeling subjects, I become part of the dean's list. Wow! This is my dream ever since and I'm part of it. Breathless. I can't believe it. I'm so proud of myself. I have good grades. I hope my luck will continue till I graduate. Cross fingers. I thank God for all this blessings... :)
